Eastern Oklahoma weather and your slab
Muskogee summers are hot and sticky, and spring brings strong storms and heavy rain. Winter is short but can bring ice. That mix means garage floors deal with humidity, wet tires and the occasional bag of ice melt.
Red clay is the other factor. It sticks to boots and tires, stains bare concrete, and expands and shrinks with the weather, which cracks older slabs. A ground-in coating seals the surface so the clay wipes off instead of soaking in.
The kinds of homes we see
Muskogee has a lot of older brick homes with detached or single-car garages, plus newer houses on the edges of town with bigger attached garages. Older slabs often need more crack repair and paint removal.
How we work
We start with a free estimate and a moisture check. On install day we grind with vacuums, repair cracks, and roll the coats. You get clear cure times before we leave.
Outside of town
We also work in Fort Gibson, Wagoner, Haskell and Warner.
Will epoxy hide red clay stains?
Grinding removes most surface staining before we coat. Deep stains may show through a light solid color, so a flake blend is the safer choice.
Is a coated floor slick?
Gloss can be slippery when wet. We add texture where you need it.
